Some of our La Belle Amie Vineyard wines are produced from the muscadine grapes grown right here on the property, while others are produced in family-run wineries in Europe near our ancestral roots in Languedoc. We also have some excellent wines from Romania, North Carolina, Washington and California. We strive to bring you wines that are unique and enjoyable. Unfortunately, because our European wines are from wineries that do not distribute outside of the regions in which they are produced, they are available in the United States only from La Belle Amie Vineyard. So, when you visit us make sure you stockpile your favorite wine to last until your next trip to La Belle Amie Vineyard!

    Our philosophy regarding wine is quite simple--wine should be enjoyed. And anything goes! If you enjoy your red wines chilled and your white wines at room temperature then that is how you should consume them. We are well aware that each person's palate is as unique as the tongue & nose tasting the wine. And the "best wine in the world" to one person may not at all be preferred or even liked by the next. We respect you as the best judge of what is or is not a "good" tasting wine to you, as well as how you should enjoy it. This is why we offer a wide range of wine varietals and styles---from very dry to very sweet.

White Wines

Chardonnay -    Available January 2008!

Light body, good fruit. Easy to drink and a good dinner wine. (White wine)

Classy Lady -     Chardonnay

Similar to our regular Chardonnay, but fermented on oak. Light body, good fruit. Easy to drink and a good dinner wine. (White wine)

Picpoul -  "Seductress"

Premium full-bodied, complex white from the picpoul grape. Great with spicy foods and shellfish. A truly unique wine. (White wine)

Phillippe -  "High Maintenance"

Blend of sauvignon blanc and ugni blanc. Great all around wine.Slightly sweet... Lovers of pinot grigio will really like this wine. (White wine)

Sauvignon Blanc -  "Its A Girl Thing"

Premium light bodied white from the sauvignon blanc grape. Good all around wine. A truly unique wine. (White wine)

Red Wines

Sangiovese -  

Dry red wine from the grape used to make Chianti.

William Addleton -  

Nice blend of carignan and cinsault grapes. Medium body, red table wine.

Cabernet -  "Gallant Knight"

Full-bodied, 100% cabernet grape. Lots of fruit aroma. (Red wine)

Zinfandel -    "Drama Queen"

A medium-bodied, fruity red wine. Great with steaks, pasta, or by itself.

Merlot -  "Babe Magnet"

Full-bodied, 100% merlot grape. Good with steaks, cheeses, chocolate. . .(Red wine)

Syrah -  "Old Goat"

Premium, full-bodied syrah. Good nose and outstanding finish. Great red dinner wine.

Sweet Wines

White Sangiovese -  "Angel Of The Morning"

Fruity, yet subtle. Oh so easy to drink as a cocktail or as a dessert wine.

Sweet White -  "You're So Naughty!"

Light, sweet wine. Smooth and easy on the palate.

A premium, full-bodied sweet. So unique, and oh the aromas! Only available from us!

Late Harvest Cabernet -  "Silver-Tongued Devil"

Carolina Bay Red -  

A traditional Southern dry muscadine wine. Great with cheeses.

Three Sisters -  "Bless Her Heart"

A traditional Southern semi-dry muscadine wine from our Carlos grapes.

Southern Magnolia -  "Diva"

A traditional Southern medium-sweet, white wine from Magnolia grapes.

Bella's Blush -  "Goddess"

A smooth, Southern muscadine blush wine. Nice finish.

Southern Belle Blush

A Southern sweet blush wine from Scuppernong grapes.
